Matière Première, the brand of perfumer Aurélien Guichard, celebrates the nobility of materials.

Inspired by his workshop in Grasse, the retail concept created by MPA honors a material that is rarely used because it is so complex: concrete. Thanks to a technical feat, it covers all the furniture designed especially for the brand. In the center of the space, the table and the olfactory touches recall the perfumer’s quest for perfection. A strong and elegant concept, both simple and ultra-sophisticated, which has accompanied the brand in its international development.

Creation and deployment of the concept

MPA’s teams created the retail concept and then developed it on Matière Première’s flagship corner at Printemps de la Beauté in Paris, before deploying it on all the brand’s points of sale around the world: at TSUM in Moscow, Harvey Nichols in Dubai, Smets in Luxemburg, Harrods in London, etc. Thus allowing the brand to fully express its identity in all retail configurations.
